Celebrating the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Britain, artists from both countries met last year in London and agreed on a project to jointly create and introduce a British play to a Korean stage. Now ILOVESTAGAE is working on a show as a producer with the opening planned for the last week of February 2023.
The play was supported by ACE in London and it’s about a young contemporary couple living in the east London. Sebastian Gardner’s painfully funny award-winning debut play ‘I Lost My Virginity to Chopin’s Nocturne in B-Flat Minor’ explores identity, devotion and dependency between two people that hate to love each other.
